Well the week is over and I feel like the training was fantastic. The trainer, Jason, did a good job trying wrangle a huge amount of material and give us practical examples of some relatively obscure details that will be on the certification exam. I had a rather frustrating week overall because I ended up doing a lot of development late into the night, and at times even into class time. I need to set better demarcation in my time, if I am doing something then that is what I am doing. I tend to feel like I understand technical things pretty well but if I could solely focus on one thing at a time I may "get it" better. This week had also been extremely frustrating when it comes to the web, my websites have all been having issues with my web hosting provider, Go Daddy. Whether it is emy wife's static site or this blog a Drupal website or my businesses site,Hearty Handshake.com, yet another e Holmes's homepag">emy wife's static site or this blog a Drupal website.
I am getting seriously tired of talking to Go Daddy's level 1 tech support guys, they try but are limited and when it gets kicked up to the "advanced hosting support" I know I am in for a long wait. I am planning on trying to push forward this weekend and split time between web development work, and putting into practice some of the things I learned this week in class, and spending some time with my wife, and our friends at a barbecue.
Tech support / advanced hosting just admitted that the server that my sites are hosted on is having an issue. I can't wait til I get some real hosting.
Talk to everyone soon...
