RobbieTheGeek.Com

Hi all I hope you have come by to see the new design rather then reading this in your favorite RSS reader, cause there is a new design gracing hte pages of RobbieTheGeek.com. That being said I lay no claims to how good that design is, what I will talk about is that it is first very representative of me right down to my face and the binary in the header. What I like is that I designed a very clean header + 3 column design, and tried to sprinkle in a little me to the feel.

Well the blog had gone quiet for the last week or two, I was very busy with my current project, but in the end that wasn't why I haven't blogged. The main reason I haven't blogged is that my site was almost inaccessible, it was offline more often then it was online. I was hosted by GoDaddy.Com, and tonight in about 20 mins I moved the site over to HostMonster.Com, it took longer to upload the files and modules that make up a Drupal install then it did for DNS transfer, hosting account creation, database creation, and anything else I am forgetting.

Tonight at 7pm I will be attending my first NYC Drupal meetup. This should be alot of fun, I attended the DrupalCampNYC2 and alot of the people that were involved in that wonderful weekend appear to attend this. That was my first ever technology meetup and it started off my obsession with attending tech meetups.

This is the inaugural post on RobbieTheGeek.Com this is consolidation of all my online blogs to one location....

I am very excited to announce that I have a new online home located over at HeartyHandshake.Com. This is a new showcase site for my web design, development and implementation, more over the site is a Drupal 5.1 website with a custom created theme. That design was created for my by my very good friend Christian over at Krona Design, and I feel very lucky to have his creativity at work for my online brand.

Wow I have spent hours of fun getting new domain names, but luckily I can now say that RobbieTheGeek.com, RobbieTheGeek.net, & RobbieTheGeek.org all are owned by yours truly and pointing to this very blog you are reading :) . All I can say is it is pretty painless when you can go to GoDaddy.com and less then 2 hours later you have the domain names being forwarded to a completely different spot on the net.
