DrupalCamp NYC 5 in the books

This weekend was the 5th DrupalCamp NYC. It was an great weekend of sessions for new people, through vetrens and every level in between. I tried my best to help out (sometimes heckle) in the Introduction to Drupal session, Introduction to Theming, Intermediate Theming and Introduction to Module Development. This was great cause it allowed me to play tech support also for the participants, and try to keep the sessions moving along. The people that led these sessions did a superb job of preparing material, putting a lot of thought into their presentations, and understanding what it was like as a new user of Drupal. With that being said John, Peter & Steven all deserve the thanks of all the participants of the sessions.

These camps are also a chance to catch up with people that I feel I only see at DrupalCamps, and to help move some relationships from acquaintances to friendship (this is done at both the camp & the post camp socializing in the bar of the night).

Thanks to all for the hard work they put into getting the camp together logistically, and all those that presented, or assisted, or asked interesting questions that took sessions off-topic and made the presenters learn new things.
